About The Position

This position requires daily in-office or field work. The Enrollment Coordinator plays a key role in supporting client access to essential services by conducting eligibility assessments, resolving help desk inquiries, and ensuring accurate enrollment into programs such as ADAP and HOPWA. This position also supports training efforts for field staff on eligibility, enrollment documentation, system navigation, and recertification processes. This role partners closely with the Help Desk Team and program liaisons to identify training needs, develop job aids, and support continuous improvements that enhance client access and program efficiency.

  • All Florida Department of Health positions require the incumbent to be able to learn and communicate effectively, orally and in writing, in English. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in client enrollment, case management, or human services programs preferred.
  • AA Degree or Higher
  • Two years of experience or more (Education can substitute for years of experience)

Responsibilities

  • Conduct initial client eligibility assessments to determine program qualification, service needs, and documentation requirements.
  • Provide training to SHO and CHD staff on eligibility, enrollment processes, documentation standards, system use, and recertification workflows.
  • Respond to help desk tickets related to client access, enrollment issues, and service questions.
  • Maintain working knowledge of enrollment processes for ADAP, HOPWA, and related programs.
  • Partner with the Help Desk Team to support call center availability and ensure timely resolution of help desk tickets.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Coordinator Liaison and Case Management Liaison on Recertification reporting and follow up.
  • Document client interactions and enrollment activities accurately to support program compliance.
  • Identify trends or recurring issues in enrollment or recertification, recommend improvements, and elevate systemic concerns as needed.
  • Support efforts to streamline enrollment and recertification processes by providing feedback and participating in system improvements and efforts to streamline workflows and enhance client access.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
