About The Position

This is a full-time Career Service position within the Economic Self Sufficiency (ESS) Program Document Processing Center. This role supports DCF’s mission by ensuring timely, accurate processing of documents that impact food, cash, and medical assistance eligibility. This position is responsible for daily operational leadership and performance coaching and liaison with contracted vendors to ensure all performance metrics and client expectations are consistently fulfilled. The incumbent will assist with keeping confidential information secured and adhere to laws, rules, and regulations. This position is designated as essential and may require extended or nonstandard work hours during declared emergencies, including participation in Disaster Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (DSNAP) operations.

Requirements

  • Must be a current DCF Employee.
  • Two years of full-time professional experience conducting interviews, reviewing documents, and determining applicant eligibility for public assistance services by utilizing the FLORIDA system.
  • One year of full-time professional experience working with high-volume document management systems, such as the MyACCESS portal.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, SharePoint.)
