About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is looking for an Experienced Government & Capital Property Management Specialist (Level 4) to join our Space and Launch Property Management team located in Huntsville, AL. This role is vital in managing the company's assets and ensuring compliance with contract provisions and enhancing property management processes. The specialist will work closely with engineering and shop personnel, fostering collaboration to effectively manage property and support ongoing projects.

Requirements

5+ years of experience managing either government contracts or government programs
3+ years of experience with PMSA (Property Management System Analysis) audits
3+ years of experience with Microsoft office suite
Experience using lean principles
Strong communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills
Ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required
Must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher
3+ years of experience with inventory management systems or database applications
National Property Management Association (NPMA) Certification
Previous experience with GOLD, Property Management system for tool classification, status, location, and accountability
Experience with CAPRS (Common Automated Procurement Request System)
Knowledge of NASA contracts

Responsibilities

Assists with development of policies associated with program property management processes for company or government property and acts as key focal for interacting with contracting organizations and customers on complex issues related to current property system status.
Provides expertise to enhance and manage information by utilizing off-the-shelf software or Boeing system tools to manage and communicate property information and to ensure accountability for property from initial acquisition to final disposition.
Develops procedures and guidelines associated with establishing acquisition processes, property records, property movement, physical inventory, maintenance processes, property utilization and consumption and disposition and contract closeout for company or government property.
Reviews records for accuracy and reviews processes for compliance to establish procedures and guidelines.
Leads the development and implementation of tools, processes and procedures.
Develops and delivers training and provides guidance to less experienced employees.
