About The Position

Kiloverse is seeking a Google Growth Lead to transform Google into a major growth driver for its brands. This is a hands-on building role focused on treating Google as a technical growth channel, working closely with the tech team on tracking and data infrastructure. The lead will own the channel strategy, manage performance on platforms like Demand Gen, PMax, and YouTube, and lead the team scaling these efforts. The role will initially focus on one brand and eventually shape the Google strategy across the entire Kilo group.

Requirements

  • Genuinely technical background – an Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable analytical/technical degree or work experience is strongly preferred.
  • Deep, hands-on expertise in Google's tracking ecosystem – server-side tagging / Google Tag Gateway, GA4, conversion APIs, offline conversion uploads, consent management, and Ads Data Hub. You should be able to define measurement requirements in technical detail and troubleshoot tagging/attribution issues yourself, not only delegate them.
  • Proven track record building and scaling Google as a major acquisition channel (not just operating it), with depth across Search and Demand Gen / PMax / YouTube.
  • Deep technical fluency in how Google actually works – bidding, signals, attribution modeling – and be comfortable getting into the technical weeds alongside a dedicated tracking team.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills, ability to work in a dynamic environment, and experience as a people manager.
  • 6+ years of experience in tech-focused performance and growth marketing, with deep, current expertise in the Google ecosystem.
  • E-commerce / DTC demand-generation experience and understand how to scale acquisition for subscription and e-commerce business models.
  • Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving change in a matrixed, portfolio-style organisation.
  • Demonstrate advanced analytical capabilities, going beyond basic reporting to maximize the utilization of Ads Manager data for actionable insights.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience as a growth/marketing engineer or in a hybrid marketing-ops/engineering role.
  • Experience in health & wellness B2C; working knowledge of additional channels (Meta, AppLovin).

Responsibilities

  • Build and scale the Google channel across a portfolio of new and emerging brands – own the strategy and roadmap from tracking foundations through to demand-gen scaling, and drive the channel toward becoming a primary acquisition source.
  • Own the technical backbone of the channel. Go hands-on with Google's tracking ecosystem – server-side tagging / Google Tag Gateway, conversion APIs, offline conversion uploads, consent management, and Ads Data Hub – and work as a true technical peer to our tracking team, not just a requirements-giver.
  • Implement business goals into the conversions, signals, and account structures the algorithms need, and be able to debug tagging and measurement issues directly when something breaks.
  • Move spend up the funnel. Scale Demand Gen, PMax, and YouTube as genuine performance channels with ROAS and incrementality discipline, while keeping Search as a reliable baseline.
  • Partner with brands' CEOs, Marketing Managers, Creative Leads, and Tech Developers to design scalable, high-performing account structures that convert through Google.
  • Stay hands-on for high-stakes technical and strategic problem solving when it counts.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative and CRO product teams to identify growth opportunities and extract high-performing insights from Search to optimize funnels and creatives.
