About The Position
Salt Fork Lodge is seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Golf Pro Shop Manager to oversee daily operations at our on-site golf pro shop located in Kimbolton, OH. The ideal candidate will provide excellent customer service, manage inventory, and ensure a welcoming experience for our guests.
Requirements
- Previous retail or golf shop management experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Knowledge of golf equipment and terminology is a plus.
- Basic proficiency with point-of-sale systems and inventory management.
- Dependable and detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of the golf pro shop, including opening and closing procedures.
- Assist customers with merchandise selection, golf equipment rentals, and tee time bookings.
- Maintain inventory levels and order merchandise as needed.
- Ensure the pro shop is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Oversee point-of-sale transactions and handle cash management accurately.
- Collaborate with the golf course and lodge staff to coordinate events and promotions.
- Provide friendly, knowledgeable customer service to enhance the guest experience.
- Train and supervise pro shop staff as necessary.
