About The Position

The Kenosha County Division of Golf is accepting applications for seasonal Food and Beverage Attendants to work at our two golf courses, Brighton Dale Links and Petrifying Springs. We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic, and hardworking individuals to perform general food and beverage operations duties. Candidates must be passionate about providing exceptional customer service to help provide world class playing and dining experiences for our guests.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old at time of application
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license at time of hire and maintain during incumbency, with acceptable driving record
  • Tobacco Sales License

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of safe food and beverage handling techniques
  • Knowledge of basic math associated with currency exchange
  • Skill in communicating effectively with guests and co-workers
  • Skill in basic usage of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to follow written and/or verbal instructions
  • Ability to observe and recognize safety precautions
  • Ability to perform a variety of food and beverage related tasks
  • Ability to operate cash register and handle money with accuracy
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Ability to work respectfully in a diverse and inclusive environment

Responsibilities

  • Sells, prepares, and serves food and beverages to guests
  • Handles cash and credit card transactions
  • Provides information about food, beverage, and merchandise offered at clubhouse
  • Sets up for special events
  • Stocks inventory
  • Picks up and properly disposes of debris and trash around clubhouse
  • Performs general maintenance duties in and around clubhouse
  • Performs other duties as required or assigned

Benefits

  • Hiring Bonus: A Kenosha County seasonal Golf candidate who is successfully hired and employed for at least 30 days shall be awarded a $200.00 bonus to their paycheck.
  • FICA Alternative Retirement Program: Seasonal employees are automatically enrolled in this program if they do not meet eligibility criteria for the Wisconsin Retirement System (pension). The FICA Alternative plan replaces the payment of FICA tax and instead contributes a percentage of pre-tax wages into an investment account for the benefit of the employee.
