About The Position

The Downers Grove Park District is looking for a Food and Beverage Attendant for Belmont Golf Club. The Attendant will be responsible for the daily operation, sales, and maintenance of the Golf Club’s bar area and Beverage Cart, and will assist with Cashier duties as needed.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age or older and hold a valid Driver’s License
Must have food and liquor handling certification. The Park District provides training.
Cash handling experience required
Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all staff and patrons
Must possess ability to lift 25 pounds
CPR, First Aid and AED certification or a willingness to obtain certification within 30 days of employment. The Park District provides training.

Responsibilities

Completes opening and/or closing duties as they pertain to bar operations
Replenishes and monitors food and beverage items, alerting supervisor when inventory is running low
Provides exemplary customer service to all guests
Assists Cashier and coworkers with Clubhouse operations as necessary
Acts in accordance with all loss compliance and safety regulations posted in the employee safety manual
Attends staff meetings, trainings and special events as scheduled by the Recreation Supervisor
Enforce and follow Park District’s safety policies, to ensure environment and participants are safe
