Responsibilities

Providing prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests while following Willow Valley standards
Setting up food venues according to location-specific setup diagrams
Assisting guests with the electronic handheld ordering system for food and beverage purchases
Taking verbal food and beverage orders from Residents and guests at various cooking stations and entering them into the point-of-sale system
Delivering food and beverages to diners' tables
Assembling food orders for table delivery
Cleaning and resetting assigned dining and service areas
Operating a point-of-sale system and processing cash and credit card transactions
Clearing and resetting tables throughout meal service to prepare for incoming diners
Observing diners and responding promptly to requests to ensure an enjoyable dining experience
Removing soiled dishes during meal service and transporting trays and bus tubs to the dish room
Assisting with events and catering functions as assigned
Following Willow Valley Communities' HACCP Plan and Food Safety policies and procedures
Receiving and storing food items according to HACCP guidelines while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
Taking ownership of creating a warm, welcoming environment and delivering exceptional customer service
