Responsibilities

Provide prompt, courteous service to Residents and guests while following Willow Valley standards.
Set up food venues according to location-specific setup diagrams.
Assist guests with the electronic handheld ordering system for food and beverage purchases.
Take verbal food and beverage orders from Residents and guests at various cooking stations and enter them into the point-of-sale system.
Deliver food and beverages to diners' tables.
Assemble food orders for table delivery.
Clean and reset assigned dining and service areas.
Operate a point-of-sale system and process cash and credit card transactions.
Clear and reset tables throughout meal service to prepare for incoming diners.
Observe diners and promptly respond to requests to ensure an enjoyable dining experience.
Remove soiled dishes during meal service and transport trays and bus tubs to the dish room.
Assist with events and catering functions as assigned.
Follow Willow Valley Communities' HACCP Plan and Food Safety policies and procedures.
Receive and store food items according to HACCP guidelines while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation.
Take ownership in creating a warm, welcoming environment and delivering exceptional customer service.
