About The Position

Under the close supervision of the Golf Course Division Manager and/or Clubhouse Manager, performs skilled work pertaining to cart maintenance, and range work. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. This is a part-time, non-benefitted position, working less than 29 hours per week, within the River Oaks Golf Course - Parks and Recreation Department.

Requirements

• Must be at least 15 years old to apply.
• Requires a valid Learner’s Permit or valid Utah Driver’s License.
• Knowledge of tools, machines, and equipment used in the maintenance of the golf course; including pressure washer, washing machine, dryer, golf cart chargers, ball picker, ball washer, mower, and other course maintenance equipment.
• Great responsibility for the care, condition and use of materials, equipment, and tools.
• Communicate and work effectively verbally and in writing.
• Frequent contacts with the public (customers) requiring tact and judgment to avoid customer dissatisfaction.
• Regular use of golf cards, radio, maintenance tools, including pressure washer, washing machine, dryer, golf cart chargers, ball picker, ball washer, mower, and other golf course maintenance equipment.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Must pass drug test before hire.

Nice To Haves

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.
• Some related work experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Follows written and verbal instructions.
