Golf Course Maintenance Worker
About The Position
Performs tasks involving physical labor and operation of machinery at a golf course. Responsible for loading and stacking rock, stone or other various items on the golf course. Operates various types of hand tools and machinery, including but not limited to Greens Mowers, Fairway Mowers, Rough Mowers, Sand Pro and Golf Carts. Cleans and maintains all areas of the golf course, digs trenches and holes, and edges bunkers, cart paths, walking paths, roads and any other closely mowed area using edging tools and power tools. Cleans golf course of all rubble, debris, waste and/or other materials. May assist other workers. Performs other duties as assigned or requested. The Company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time. Must work within the guidelines of the Gallea Golf Properties, LLC employee handbook.
Requirements
- High School Graduate or Equivalent preferred.
- One (1) year of job related experience preferred.
- Must perform general physical activities.
- Must possess basic knowledge of the language and terminologies used in this occupation.
- Must possess the ability to perform simple repairs on equipment.
- Must possess the ability to receive and follow direction.
- Must possess excellent verbal communication skills.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities
