About The Position

We are currently hiring for a Practice Partner at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL. This part-time role is responsible for understanding golfers' needs and enhancing their practice experience through friendly, efficient service to all guests and members.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
  • Ability to write simple sentences.
  • Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations.
  • Works harmoniously with others to get a job done, responds positively to instructions and procedures.
  • Able to work well with staff while maintaining relationships that breed productive disagreement and debate.
  • Meets the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
  • Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services.
  • Acts with the customer in mind and establishes and maintains effective relationships with customers and gains their trust and respect.
  • Valid Florida Driver’s License.
  • Frequent standing, walking and lifting up to 75 pounds required on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests with a friendly welcome.
  • Address golfers by name if known, or as Sir/Madam if unknown.
  • Perform daily setup and breakdown of the practice facility.
  • Pick, wash, and restock practice balls throughout the day.
  • Maintain a clean and safe facility for members and guests.
  • Ensure proper cleaning, staging, and storage of all equipment.
  • Assist instructors with setup for lessons, clinics, and private tee rentals.
  • Clean and wash golf cars, ashtrays, and coolers, and wipe them down before storage or reuse.
