We are currently hiring for a Practice Partner at PGA Golf Club in Port St. Lucie, FL. This part-time role is responsible for understanding golfers' needs and enhancing their practice experience through friendly, efficient service to all guests and members.

Requirements

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Ability to write simple sentences.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, and ratios to practical situations.
Works harmoniously with others to get a job done, responds positively to instructions and procedures.
Able to work well with staff while maintaining relationships that breed productive disagreement and debate.
Meets the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers.
Gets first-hand customer information and uses it for improvements in products and services.

Valid Florida Driver’s License.
Frequent standing, walking and lifting up to 75 pounds required on a daily basis.

Responsibilities

Greet members and guests with a friendly welcome.
Address golfers by name if known, or as Sir/Madam if unknown.
Perform daily setup and breakdown of the practice facility.
Pick, wash, and restock practice balls throughout the day.
Maintain a clean and safe facility for members and guests.
Ensure proper cleaning, staging, and storage of all equipment.
Assist instructors with setup for lessons, clinics, and private tee rentals.
Clean and wash golf cars, ashtrays, and coolers, and wipe them down before storage or reuse.
