Golf Course Seasonal Groundskeeper
About The Position
The Golf Course Seasonal Groundskeeper position involves performing physical labor related to golf course maintenance and landscaping. While prior experience is preferred, it is not strictly necessary. The role requires a positive attitude, the ability to work effectively in a team, and some understanding of the game of golf. Responsibilities include operating small hand tools and riding mowers, performing course maintenance as directed by supervisors, maintaining good working relationships with staff and the public, and promoting workplace safety. The position is seasonal and requires availability to work every other weekend. Candidates must be at least 16 years old, have reliable transportation, be able to work in all weather conditions, and lift 60+ pounds. This role is subject to pre-employment drug testing. The job description is not exhaustive, and employees may be asked to perform other duties as needed.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities
- Performs course maintenance assignments as directed by the Turfcare Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent
- Maintains effective working relationships with SVCA staff, board members, and the public
- Promotes and supports workplace safety
- Performs physical labor with small hand tools and riding mowers on various parts of the golf course
- Undertakes other duties as assigned
