About The Position

This seasonal position involves performing physical labor on various parts of the golf course, including using small hand tools and riding mowers. The role requires maintaining effective working relationships with staff, board members, and the public, while promoting and supporting workplace safety. The job is subject to pre-employment drug testing and requires the ability to work in all weather conditions and lift 60+ pounds. Golf privileges are included.

Requirements

Must be 16 years of age and older
Must have reliable transportation
Must have some knowledge of the game of golf
Be able to work in all weather conditions
Able to lift 60+ pounds

Nice To Haves

Golf course maintenance/landscaping experience is preferred
Positive attitude working in a team environment

Responsibilities

Performs course maintenance assignments as directed by the Turfcare Superintendent and Assistant Superintendent
Maintains effective working relationships with SVCA staff, board members, and the public.
Promotes and supports workplace safety.
Performs physical labor with small hand tools and riding mowers on various parts of the golf course.
Undertakes other duties as assigned.
