About The Position

This full-time position operates light and small motorized equipment to maintain golf course grounds, including greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and surrounding turf areas. The role involves mowing, edging, trimming, assisting with fertilizer and herbicide application, sod work, mulching, debris removal, bunker maintenance, cup cutting, tee marker placement, and general golf course service. The operator must complete assigned mowing and maintenance tasks safely, efficiently, and within designated timeframes. The work is outdoors in varying weather conditions, requires frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs., and involves a flexible schedule that includes weekends. A positive, customer-friendly attitude is expected.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to safely and efficiently complete assigned mowing and course maintenance tasks within designated timeframes.
• Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Positive, customer-friendly attitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate light and small motorized equipment, including triplexes, walk mowers, rotary deck mowers, weed eaters, mechanized sand rakes, and utility vehicles.
• Maintain greens, tees, fairways, roughs, bunkers, and surrounding turf areas.
• Perform mowing, edging, and trimming.
• Assist with fertilizer and herbicide application.
• Perform sod work and mulching.
• Remove debris and maintain bunkers.
• Cut cups and place tee markers.
• Provide general golf course service.
• Complete assigned mowing and course maintenance tasks safely and efficiently within designated timeframes.
