About The Position

Champions Retreat Golf Club is seeking energetic, motivated, and dependable candidates for full-time Golf Course Maintenance positions. Employees gain knowledge and training to operate specialized equipment and perform tasks related to golf course maintenance. Experience in the industry is not required for employment, and the role may offer progressive advancement potential. The position is at Champions Retreat in Evans, Georgia, a 27-hole private golf club near Augusta.

Requirements

• Team player with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Availability to work some weekends and holidays, overtime, and flexibly accommodate changes as requested.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions, including potential inclement weather.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping for up to five hours without sitting.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.

Nice To Haves

• One year of landscape maintenance or greenkeeping experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine golf course maintenance activities at the assigned work location.
• Help keep the maintenance facility, equipment, and tools clean, organized, and safe, and report deficiencies to management.
• Participate in training on proper equipment operation and required safety procedures.
