About The Position

Champions Retreat Golf Club is hiring full-time Golf Course Maintenance team members to perform routine maintenance activities at one work location. Team members will gain knowledge and training in operating specialized equipment used for golf course maintenance, including training in safe and proper equipment operation. The role may offer progressive advancement potential. Industry experience is helpful but is not required.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license and ability to operate a motor vehicle.
• Team-oriented approach, strong work ethic, and positive attitude.
• Ability to work independently and proactively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to follow detailed written or verbal instructions.
• Ability to work some weekends and holidays, overtime, and flexibly as requested.
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods in varying weather, with possible exposure to inclement conditions.
• Ability to perform heavy physical labor, including bending, lifting, stooping, kneeling, climbing, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, and grasping for up to five hours without sitting.
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds occasionally and up to 50 pounds frequently.

Nice To Haves

• One year of landscape maintenance or greenkeeping experience preferred.
• Experience in the golf course maintenance industry is a plus but is not required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine golf course maintenance functions and related activities at one work location.
• Help keep the maintenance facility, equipment, and tools clean, organized, and safe, and report deficiencies to management.
• Participate in training on proper equipment operation and safety procedures.
