About The Position
The Resort at Longboat Key Club is seeking a dedicated and skilled Golf Course Operator II to join its team in Longboat Key, Florida. The role is responsible for operating, maintaining, and caring for golf course equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for maintaining the quality and aesthetics of the resort’s golf courses.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating and maintaining golf course or similar turf equipment.
- Strong mechanical skills and ability to diagnose and repair equipment.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Valid driver’s license.

- Knowledge of golf course maintenance practices.
Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain golf course equipment, including mowers, tractors, and other machinery.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance to support equipment efficiency and safety.
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and coordinate repairs as needed.
- Assist with turf management and irrigation operations to support golf course conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment usage, maintenance, and repairs.
- Collaborate with the Groundskeeping and Maintenance teams to support overall course quality.
- Follow safety guidelines and company policies in all operations.
