About The Position
Repairs and maintains all equipment related to the maintenance and conditioning of the golf course while working closely with the golf course Superintendent in a positive team environment.
Requirements
- Small engine repair.
- Hydraulics.
- Welding.
- Electronics.
- Grinding and sharpening of reels and bed knives.
- Operate the equipment required for golf course maintenance.
- Deal effectively with the public.
- High School diploma or GED equivalent, supplemented with courses specific to mechanical maintenance.
- Six months of mechanical maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license and a current Medical Examiner’s Certificate in accordance with Federal Regulations.
- Subject to background investigation.
Responsibilities
- Performs preventive maintenance, repairs and sets up all equipment and licensed vehicles used by the golf course maintenance crew.
- Maintains an adequate inventory of parts and supplies.
- Keeps the golf course maintenance shop in clean and orderly condition.
- Coordinates and schedules all daily/weekly/monthly/annual maintenance of golf course equipment.
- Performs related work as required.
