About The Position

Omni Hotels & Resorts is hiring a full-time Golf Cart Attendant at Barton Creek Country Club. The role focuses on welcoming guests and members, supporting golf operations, and maintaining golf carts and storage areas while providing service consistent with Omni Hotel standards. The position requires flexibility to work some weekends and holidays and may involve 8–10-hour workdays and exposure to weather conditions.

Requirements

Excellent verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
English language proficiency.
Willingness to work some weekends and holidays.
Ability to withstand an 8–10-hour workday.
Ability to withstand exposure to weather conditions.
Ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Ability to safely and properly operate a golf cart.

Education in golf or a related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

Maintain regular attendance according to scheduling and resort needs.
Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and grooming, including proper attire or uniform and name tag.
Greet every guest and member enthusiastically and use member names consistently.
Explain golf cart GPS functionality, course conditions, cart path rules, and other pertinent information to guests and members.
Care for guest and member golf clubs, including cleaning, storing, and transporting them.
Provide consistent and timely movement of golf bags from valet to golf cart staging and pro-shop areas.
Detail and maintain golf carts continuously, including cleaning, stocking, and driving them.
Move golf carts to the cart barn at the end of the day.
Keep storage areas neat, clean, and free of debris.
Assist with coordinating outside services for golf tournaments.
Ensure consistent presentation according to Omni Hotel standards.
Provide exceptional customer service.
Safely and properly operate a golf cart.
