About The Position
Barton Creek Country Club, part of Omni Hotels & Resorts, is hiring a full-time Golf Cart Attendant. The role supports the club’s golf operations while delivering personalized service to members and guests and upholding Omni’s standards for hospitality and presentation. Duties include explaining cart GPS functionality, course conditions and cart path rules; caring for golf clubs; moving golf bags; maintaining and cleaning carts; keeping storage areas orderly; and assisting with outside services for tournaments. The position requires regular attendance, a polished appearance, excellent customer service and communication, and flexibility to work some weekends and holidays. The work may involve 8–10-hour days, exposure to weather, lifting at least 50 pounds, and safely operating a golf cart.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- English language proficiency required.
- Must be able to safely and properly operate a golf cart.
- Must be able to withstand an 8–10-hour workday.
- Must be able to withstand exposure to weather conditions.
- Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds.
- Must be willing to work some weekends and holidays.
- Must maintain regular attendance and meet personal appearance and grooming standards.

- Education in golf or a related field is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet every guest and member enthusiastically and consistently use member names.
- Explain golf cart GPS functionality, course conditions, cart path rules, and other pertinent information to guests and members.
- Care for guest and member golf clubs, including cleaning, storing, and transporting them.
- Provide timely golf bag movement from valet to golf cart staging or pro-shop areas.
- Clean, stock, drive, detail, and maintain golf carts continuously.
- Move golf carts to the cart barn at the end of the day.
- Keep storage areas neat, clean, and free of debris.
- Assist in coordinating outside services for golf tournaments.
- Maintain presentation in accordance with Omni Hotel standards and provide exceptional customer service.
- Maintain regular attendance according to scheduling needs and Omni standards.
- Maintain personal appearance and grooming, including wearing the proper attire or uniform and name tag.
