About The Position

This role is responsible for the performance, growth, and profitability of a portfolio of creator and brand accounts, with direct revenue accountability for a key book of business. This is a revenue-focused role requiring daily engagement within accounts, a strong understanding of unit economics, and proactive urgency. The position involves end-to-end account management, including daily media buying for both brand-boosting creators and creator-funded arbitrage. It requires close performance monitoring, translating insights into direct recommendations, and driving action from brands and creators. The role also focuses on profitably growing spend, developing scalable strategies and processes, and rapidly onboarding new high-priority accounts.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in paid social, performance marketing, advertiser success, account strategy, partnerships, or a related field.
  • Personally managed paid social spend of at least seven figures per month, working directly in the accounts.
  • Been bonused, or otherwise held directly accountable, for the advertiser or brand spend personally driven.
  • Personally managed a complex portfolio of accounts, with direct responsibility for performance, growth, and profitability.
  • An in-depth understanding of auctions, creative testing, and attribution, including bid strategy, creative fatigue cycles, and audience dynamics.
  • Demonstrated radical ownership over paid social outcomes, taking responsibility for results and proactively identifying solutions when performance falls short.
  • A strong understanding of performance media unit economics, including gross profit, take rates, and customer acquisition cost, and how account-level decisions connect to broader business outcomes.
  • Experience coordinating cross-functional stakeholders across areas such as media buying, creative, operations, product, and client services.
  • Experience mentoring or directing the work of others and identifying the resources needed to support portfolio growth.
  • Experience building processes and operating effectively in a lean, rapidly changing, or otherwise unstructured environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Worked on creator whitelisting, boosting, or Spark and partnership ad workflows across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or other platforms.
  • Worked directly with creators or talent, including managing handle access, creative rights, and creator-native performance.
  • Background in affiliate marketing, creator commerce, or media buying on own account for arbitrage.
  • Onboarded new clients and brought accounts to strong performance quickly.

Responsibilities

  • Own the health and growth of the portfolio, with a primary success metric of volume of spend at break-even or above.
  • Buy and manage media directly in ad accounts daily.
  • Monitor campaigns daily to identify issues and recommend changes before clients are impacted.
  • Push brands and creators on whitelisting setups, creative rotations, and spend levels.
  • Coordinate with internal teams on creative approvals, handle access, brand-safety requirements, and spend pacing.
  • Onboard new high-priority accounts quickly and set them up for growth.
  • Drive brands and creators to act by identifying and resolving performance blockers (creative, spend, creator/brand match, handle access, attribution) or pushing clients to resolve them.
  • Respond to issues within hours and treat client inaction as a lost dollar.
  • Work closely with a cross-functional team including a brand product manager, creator product marketing manager, operations support, and a contract media buyer.
  • Identify resources and support needed for the portfolio to scale, developing a point of view on roles, team mix, and capabilities.
  • Develop a system for triaging accounts based on revenue at risk, urgency, and relationship health.
  • Establish a process for managing a high volume of accounts.
  • Track behavioral service levels such as response time, contact frequency, and creative acceptance rate.
