About The Position

The Global Trading Agreements Group Manager/Negotiator is an executive director-level role in Asset Management. Within a global, business-aligned team, the Manager leads negotiators responsible for negotiating Master Trading Agreements and related documentation for funds and clients across multiple products and jurisdictions. Documentation includes ISDAs, CSAs, MSFTAs, MCAs, Prime Brokerage Agreements, GMRAs, MRAs, Triparty and Clearing Agreements, and ancillary documentation supporting trading relationships. Alongside people leadership and oversight, the Manager personally negotiates a portfolio of agreements, typically involving higher-risk and higher-complexity matters. The role provides strategic direction and coaching to the team and requires deep subject-matter expertise in trading documentation and awareness of relevant regulatory requirements, including FINRA 4210 Uncleared Margin Rules and the SEC Cleared Repo Mandate. The Manager partners closely with internal stakeholders and counterparties, and performs in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment. The Manager champions modernization by using AI-enabled tools and automation to streamline documentation workflows, improve risk identification and escalation, and enhance stakeholder reporting. These efforts must remain consistent with internal controls, regulatory expectations, and Legal-approved standards.
