About The Position

NVX is building one of the most ambitious car audio product catalogs in the world—engineered for performance and designed to deliver exceptional value. Our next chapter is scaling NVX into a globally recognized product powerhouse across subwoofers, amplifiers, speakers, wiring, and accessories. We are hiring a Global Sourcing & Product Development Manager to lead the expansion of the NVX catalog from concept to shelf. This role blends global sourcing, product innovation, and data-driven execution. You will work directly with factories—primarily in China and broader Asia—to develop, cost, refine, and launch best-in-class products. This is a hands-on, operator role. We are looking for someone who has been on the ground in Asia, understands factory dynamics, and can turn insights into tangible product wins. You must be highly analytical, fluent in Excel and AI tools, and relentless in driving better products at better costs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field preferred).
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience working with manufacturers in Asia.
  • Required: Must have physically traveled to China (and ideally other Asian countries).
  • Strong understanding of global sourcing, manufacturing, and product development processes.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (modeling, cost analysis, forecasting).
  • Experience leveraging AI tools (ChatGPT, automation, data tools) for productivity and insight generation.
  • Highly proficient with computer systems and data analysis.
  • Ownership mentality with a strong bias toward action.
  • Strong negotiation skills with a cost-first mindset.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking.
  • Ability to balance performance, cost, and speed.

Responsibilities

  • Own the end-to-end product development lifecycle for NVX catalog expansion (ideation → sourcing → production → launch).
  • Identify new product opportunities using data (sales trends, search demand, margin targets, competitive analysis).
  • Build and manage relationships with overseas manufacturers, primarily in China and Southeast Asia.
  • Travel internationally to factories to evaluate capabilities, negotiate pricing, and ensure quality standards.
  • Lead RFQ processes and cost negotiations to achieve target margins.
  • Analyze BOMs and recommend cost optimizations without sacrificing performance.
  • Partner cross-functionally with engineering, merchandising, and marketing to define product specs and positioning.
  • Use Excel and AI tools to model pricing, forecast demand, and optimize assortments.
  • Evaluate market products and drive development of superior NVX alternatives.
  • Ensure product quality through sampling, testing, and factory feedback loops.
  • Drive packaging, branding, and feature differentiation aligned with NVX positioning.
  • Manage product timelines and ensure on-time launches.
  • Continuously improve supplier base and reduce dependency risk.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends in car audio, materials, and manufacturing.
  • Support special projects related to sourcing, cost reduction, and catalog optimization.
