About The Position

Neogen is seeking a skilled and business-minded Global Sourcing Manager to lead supplier sourcing, qualification, contract negotiation, and supplier performance activities for designated product lines and commodities. This role is ideal for a procurement professional who can balance strategic sourcing, risk management, cross-functional collaboration, and supplier relationship management to support operational excellence and long-term business goals.

Requirements

Demonstrated experience in sourcing, procurement, supplier management, supply chain, or a related business function.
Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship management skills.
Ability to assess market conditions, identify sourcing risks, and recommend appropriate business actions.
Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Quality, Regulatory, Operations, Finance, or Legal.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, documents, and supplier onboarding requirements.
Clear written and verbal communication skills, with sound judgment and a professional approach to stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers to support designated product lines and commodity needs.
Prepare bid requests, contract proposals, and related documentation to initiate and support procurement processes.
Negotiate and execute supplier agreements that help secure a competitive market position for the organization.
Manage supplier performance, including corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs), risk mitigation, and issue resolution.
Identify key materials and develop secondary and tertiary supplier strategies to support supply continuity.
Partner with Quality, Regulatory, and other internal teams to onboard suppliers and resolve supplier-related concerns.
