About The Position

We are seeking a Global Sourcing Manager, Electrical to own the electrical category, including switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, and busway, which represent the longest lead times in our build process. This role involves negotiating capacity reservations with electrical OEMs years in advance and converting these reservations into orders as the pipeline solidifies. You will be responsible for dual-sourcing major equipment classes across OEMs, managing the design implications with engineering, and meticulously tracking factory slots and production milestones supplier by supplier to ensure project timelines are met. Our team operates with extreme ownership, velocity, and a first-principles approach, challenging assumptions and prioritizing the best ideas to drive innovation in AI infrastructure.

Requirements

Sourced major electrical equipment (switchgear, transformers, UPS, generation) for large construction programs.
Reserved factory capacity ahead of firm designs and managed the commercial risk that creates.
Know the current lead-time reality of the electrical market by product class.
Expedited equipment through a factory by knowing whom to call and what to trade.

Nice To Haves

Experience with MV/HV equipment.
Experience with utility-scale generation.
Experience with OFCI programs.
Experience with factory witness testing.
