About The Position
Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, aiming to deliver 10 to 100s of GWs of compute faster than anyone else. This involves acquiring power, designing and building data centers, and operating them. The company values extreme ownership, velocity, first principles thinking, and a passion for the AI frontier. The Supply Chain Team is crucial for achieving speed and scale, focusing on supplying gigawatts of compute, qualifying critical equipment, and making supply chain a competitive advantage. They also aim to build the most accurate supply chain prediction modeling using AI. This role specifically focuses on owning the consumables category, which includes items like coolant, filters, spare kits, and PPE that are used daily at sites. The goal is to ensure consumables never cause site downtime without tying up excessive capital in inventory. This involves setting stocking strategies, negotiating national and regional agreements, and building an automated replenishment system based on consumption data.
Requirements
- Managed high-SKU-count procurement (MRO, consumables, spares) across multiple sites.
- Set min/max stocking levels from usage data and defended them against both stockouts and write-offs.
- Standardize SKUs across sites so purchasing power consolidates.
- Automate reordering rather than running it on memory.
Nice To Haves
- Data center or industrial MRO experience.
- Experience with coolant and liquid cooling consumables.
- Experience with VMI (Vendor-Managed Inventory) programs.
- Experience with punchout catalog systems.
Responsibilities
- Own the consumables category: coolant, filters, spares kits, PPE, and everything sites burn through daily.
- Set stocking strategies per site so consumables never idle a crew, without tying up capital in dead stock.
- Negotiate national and regional agreements that give every new site pricing and supply from day one.
- Build the replenishment system that reorders on consumption data rather than someone noticing an empty shelf.
