About The Position

GardaWorld Security Services is hiring a Global Security Operations Center Operator in San Jose, California. The role involves monitoring security systems and screens to identify suspicious activity and potential threats, documenting incidents, responding to emergencies, conducting patrols, controlling access to secure areas, and helping protect people and property. The operator will also assess security systems for possible vulnerabilities or malfunctions and collaborate with law enforcement during serious situations. The posting describes the position as part-time, scheduled Friday and Saturday from 10:00 p.m. to 6:30 a.m., at $28 per hour. Uniforms are provided at no cost.

Requirements

• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Provide documentation of a high school diploma or GED.
• Have at least two years of corporate security experience.
• Have one year of GSOC, SOC, or control room experience.
• Be tech-savvy and demonstrate strong proficiency with technology.
• Have excellent customer service experience.
• Provide an up-to-date security resume.
• Have strong report-writing skills.
• Have sharp visual observation skills and exceptional concentration.

Nice To Haves

• Security, military, or law enforcement experience.
• A state security license (BSIS Guard Card) and an additional 32 hours of BSIS security training; additional training can be obtained during the hiring process.

Responsibilities
