About The Position

Eaton’s Mobility Group is seeking a Product Strategy Manager to join our leadership team. This position will be based in Southfield, MI. The Product Strategy Manager oversees the long-term enterprise mobility product portfolio, tasked to achieve $6B in 2030 sales at +20% ROS. The Product Strategy Manager will ensure the Mobility group portfolio aligns with Eaton’s capabilities and supports the enterprise Power Management vision. This role assesses current, future and adjacent technologies in conjunction with market trends, competitive positioning and the Mobility portfolio health to articulate strategic recommendations and implementation proposals to internal stakeholders. Eaton announced, on January 26, 2026, the intent to separate its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) into an independent, publicly traded company. We expect to complete the separation by the end of the first quarter of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the spinoff closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, supply chain, business administration, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in product and business strategy
  • Minimum 5 years in program management, engineering, supply chain, operations management, or commercial fields.

Nice To Haves

  • MBA or Executive Business Education preferred, from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in areas such as management consulting, business development, product management, corporate strategy, or technology management.
  • Proficient in strategic frameworks, analytical tools, financial modeling, valuation methodologies, and technology commercialization.
  • Background in mergers and acquisitions (acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other partnerships), including target identification, conducting due diligence, and/or integration activities.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the product and technology strategy for the Mobility Group to achieve the long-term vision of the enterprise by working across all global product line strategy leaders.
  • Collaborate with product management and engineering on technology roadmaps, and provide prioritization on investment decisions.
  • Coach and develop product line strategy team members to ensure process rigor and quality outputs of strategic planning cycles.
  • Conduct industry, market, competitor, and technology analyses to recommend strategic planning and business development initiatives.
  • Monitor and report on technology portfolio health, including KPIs for innovation, product performance, and market impact.
  • Assist in developing and updating the Global Mobility Business Strategy, ensuring alignment with Eaton’s enterprise goals and shareholder expectations.
  • Partner with senior leaders, regional teams, and product leads to identify and evaluate growth opportunities, including organic and inorganic initiatives.
  • Coordinate strategy deployment across the organization, including effective communication of business strategy and progress.
  • Provide business intelligence and support cross-functional initiatives, monitoring emerging markets, macroeconomic trends, and technological advancements.
  • Help build and manage the acquisition pipeline by identifying, researching, and prioritizing potential M&A targets.
  • Support due diligence and business case development for acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and minority investments.
  • Participate in special projects and cross-functional initiatives, contributing to ongoing assessment of market dynamics and segment performance.
  • Contribute to the development of a high-impact, growth-oriented Strategy and Business Development organization.
