About The Position

Springs Window Fashions is looking for a motivated and hardworking individual to join our Procurement Team! The Procurement Internship provides an exciting opportunity to assist the team with project support while providing valuable work experience related to your chosen field of study. Our paid internship program is known for having in-depth, challenging project work with cross-functional teams, as well as professional development, job shadowing and other growth opportunities.

Requirements

Previous internship experience in relevant function
Pursuing a 4-year degree with preferred current standing of Sophomore/Junior level
Proficient computer skills Microsoft Office (add excel/analytics for certain roles)
Problem-solving and critical thinking skills
Strong communication skills (verbal, written and attention to detail)
Positive attitude and eagerness to learn

Responsibilities

Move from scoring individual suppliers to managing, comparing, and proactively identifying supplier risk
Scale the scorecard to essentially improve data quality
Benchmark suppliers - compare performance and establish rankings
Identify supplier risk - combine trends, benchmarking to highlight high risk suppliers
Standardize supplier reviews - create monthly/quarterly reviews
Pilot & Roll out - test with selected commodities and strategic suppliers, gather feedback, integrate into a broader rollout plan
Move to generating actionable procurement insights by assisting in activities to:
Expand the data model
Advance AI insights
Strengthen Procurement use cases
Productionize Valora
Pilot & Scale Adoption
