About The Position

Academy Sports + Outdoors is offering a dynamic 10-week internship program designed to provide real-world experience in a fast-paced retail environment. Interns will work on meaningful projects that directly impact the business, supporting various departments such as finance, merchandising, HR, IT, marketing, or supply chain. The program offers hands-on exposure to corporate operations and teaches how a leading sporting goods retailer stays competitive. Interns will collaborate with experienced professionals, evaluate processes, contribute to department goals, and present project results to executive leadership, applying classroom knowledge in a practical setting and building a professional network.

Requirements

• Junior or Senior status at an accredited college or university
• Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of internship
• Degree plan aligned with your internship focus area
• Record of strong academic performance
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
• Ability to apply academic knowledge to real-world business challenges
• A team-first attitude; willing to step in wherever needed
