About The Position

Shape the learning backbone by leading cross-site improvements, system updates, and migration to next‑gen LMS. Setting standards for content structure, configuration, and reporting—while supporting sites with structure, data insights, and Q&A. Partner with the Learning Global Process Owner and site administrators to drive process alignment, harmonized global curricula, and reliable, comparable compliance reporting across the network.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Information Systems, Education/Instructional Design, Quality/Regulatory, or related field with 5 years of progressive experience in GxP training/learning, Quality Systems, or process ownership within biopharmaceutical, biologics, vaccines, or CDMO environments; OR Master’s degree in Life Sciences, Information Systems, Education/Instructional Design, Quality/Regulatory, or related field with 3 years of progressive experience in GxP training/learning, Quality Systems, or process ownership within biopharmaceutical, biologics, vaccines, or CDMO environments.
  • Demonstrated superuser-level proficiency with a validated LMS (e.g., ComplianceWire, Cornerstone, SuccessFactors) and familiarity with EDMS/QMS integrations (e.g., Veeva, MasterControl).
  • Direct exposure to audits/inspections and training-record compliance (e.g., 21 CFR Part 11, EU GMP Annex 11/15, data integrity/ALCOA+).
  • Experience facilitating or leading trainings/workshops.
  • Any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background to deliver against role expectations.
  • Deep knowledge of validated LMS administration, security roles, electronic signatures, audit trails, Part 11/Annex 11 expectations, CSV/validation lifecycle, and ALCOA+ data integrity.
  • Understanding of how QMS and EDMS link to training (document control, change control, deviations/CAPA, qualification matrices).
  • Strength in reporting/BI tools, compliance metrics, role-based curricula, and effectiveness checks; comfort with large data sets for site comparison and trends.
  • Project/program management, stakeholder engagement across sites, clear written and verbal communication, SOP/admin guide development, presentation to auditors/leadership.
  • Problem solving, continuous improvement mindset, and change management in a matrixed environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s degree, preferred.
  • Formal project management training (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum) preferred.
  • Hands-on experience with system migrations or major upgrades in a regulated setting strongly preferred.
  • Experience with Alteryx and Tableau to design, automate, and maintain reports and KPIs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross-site LMS projects from charter to close: Plan, execute, and close cross-site LMS improvement projects, system releases, and a multi-site LMS migration. Build charters, schedules, RAID logs, and stakeholder communications; manage project governance, risks, and issues. Coordinate cutover planning, validation activities, hypercare, and track deliverables to outcomes.
  • Establish and champion global LMS standards and superuser excellence: Define and maintain global standards for content hierarchy, learning object types, role profiles, curricula, and compliance rules to ensure consistency across sites. Serve as the global LMS superuser and tier 2/3 support for site admins; author and maintain admin guides, playbooks, and configuration baselines.
  • Elevate reporting, data integrity, and audit readiness: Build, standardize, and automate dashboards/reports for training status, overdue/critical-role compliance, effectiveness checks, and inspection readiness. Ensure data integrity, reconciliations, and alignment with QMS records; partner with IT/BI on data models and access controls.
  • Drive process improvement and governance: Lead continuous improvement of LMS usage and workflow design; align with the Global Business Process Owner (Training) on global training-process requirements and change control.
  • Support audits and inspections: gather evidence, demonstrate controls, and coordinate CAPA actions for LMS-related findings.
  • Coach a global community: Coach and enable site LMS administrators and contribute to a Global Community of Practice to share best practices and accelerate adoption.
