About The Position

Provide hands-on support to students in the GLOBAL Inclusive Program, including those living in residence halls and those who commute. This position is benefits-eligible for workers’ compensation and will receive 1 hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to a maximum of 48 hours per year. Please note that only students hired during the Spring 2026 semester for academic year 26/27 by the Office of Housing and Residential Engagement (HRE) and the GLOBAL Inclusive Program are eligible to apply.

Responsibilities

Assisting with grocery shopping, cooking, and cleaning
Supporting health and safety concerns
Organizing and facilitating community programs for students
Sharing information about campus events and, when possible, attending events with students
Building and maintaining positive, supportive relationships with students
Creating inclusive, safe, and welcoming environments within the residence halls
Helping to develop and inform community projects
Referring students to appropriate campus resources
Communicating and enforcing the University’s discipline policies
Attending GLOBAL Inclusive Program Staff Meetings
Providing impromptu support, as needed
Developing, preparing for, and facilitating CA Time on Sunday evenings
Submitting reports as required
Following and maintaining HRE standards and practices, SOPs, and hierarchy of support.
Responding to GLOBAL Inclusive staff communication in a timely manner (Email: Respond within 48 business hours. Text message: Respond within 24 hours. Phone call: Answer or call back as soon as possible. On-call communications: Respond immediately (or as soon as safely possible if in case of an emergency).)
Submitting time sheets on time
