Global Hedge Product Management, Vice President

State Street•Boston, MA
•$110,000 - $188,750

About The Position

State Street is seeking a commercially minded Vice President to help shape and grow its Global Hedge offering, with a particular focus on North America. The role spans front-office technology, middle-office services, fund administration, data, treasury, custody, and related capabilities. It is a broad product leadership position focused on translating market and client needs into competitive, scalable solutions and measurable business outcomes, rather than a narrowly defined product-governance role. The successful candidate will work closely with clients and teams across Sales, Relationship Management, Operations, Technology, State Street Alpha, and other product areas, and will contribute to the strategy and growth of the Global Alternatives business. The Vice President will help set product strategy and roadmaps; assess market developments, client needs, competitive gaps, platform capabilities, and delivery opportunities; and manage initiatives throughout the product lifecycle. The role also supports commercial growth through client engagements, proposals, pitches, pricing discussions, go-to-market plans, and product adoption. It requires connecting Global Hedge capabilities to State Street's broader enterprise platform and coordinating across business and control functions to ensure solutions are commercially viable, scalable, differentiated, and operationally deliverable. The position calls for an independent, execution-focused product leader who can build business cases, define success measures, influence senior stakeholders, and provide clear updates to management. During the first 12 months, success includes establishing credibility with Global Hedge leadership and North American stakeholders, taking ownership of commercially important initiatives, strengthening cross-team collaboration, contributing to client opportunities and pipeline conversion, and showing progress against agreed growth, client, product, or scalability objectives.

  • Demonstrated success leading product initiatives, complex client engagements, platform enhancements, or operating-model transformation.
  • Experience translating business and client needs into structured requirements, roadmaps, business cases, and implementation plans.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, presentation, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to influence senior stakeholders and coordinate delivery across Product, Technology, Operations, and client-facing teams.
  • Ability to manage several priorities in a fast-moving, global environment.
