About The Position

Flynn Group of Companies is the leading trade contractor in North America that works on virtually every aspect of a building’s outer layer, including Roofing, Glazing, Waterproofing, and Architectural Metals. The foundation of our award winning success is having the right people on our team. This position will be based out of our Winnipeg location, reporting to the Glazing Service Manager. This posting is for an existing vacancy within the organization.

Requirements

• Strong communication, organizational skills and excellent time management
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced team environment
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
• Entrepreneurial spirit and drive to grow the business
• Experienced in using computer programs specific to this role (MS Office and Bluebeam/AutoCad)
• Clear understanding of contract documents

Responsibilities

• Help grow and build our Glazing Service business
• Work with National team to build local presence and assist on local relationships with national clients
• Communication with existing customers and explain Flynn Service opportunities
• Regular follow-up on quotes and tenders
• Attend association, industry, and networking events
• Plan and attend client meetings in a variety of locations based on interests of the client
• Work with Local and National team to promote Flynn’s brand and services through marketing and social media channels
• Understand and prepare takeoffs and estimates for assigned jobs in a timely manner
• Complete work orders, take-offs and estimates in a concise and timely manner
• Ability to conduct presentations virtually
• Supporting corporate initiatives and business development objectives
