About The Position

The Glaze Line Operator ensures safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment and follows the Quality Management System (QMS) and standard operating procedures. The role stocks production lines and machines, transports, weighs, and mixes ingredients, loads and unloads machines, and performs periodic checks on output. The operator creates samples and performs quality control checks, monitors equipment and processes, and reports safety, quality, productivity, or systems-related problems to a supervisor. The role also maintains safety, quality, and productivity records, keeps the work area safe, clean, and organized, and supports ongoing learning by developing personal skills and assisting other employees. Other related duties may be assigned as required.

Shift: 6 AM–6 PM. Schedule: 2-2-3.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment.
• Follow the Quality Management System (QMS), standard operating procedures, and safe operating practices.
• Stock lines and machines with needed materials.
• Transport, weigh, and mix appropriate ingredients.
• Load and unload machines.
• Perform periodic checks on output.
• Create samples and perform quality control checks.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related problems to a supervisor.
• Maintain documentation and records related to safety, quality, and productivity for the assigned area.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Support lifelong learning by enhancing own skills and assisting in the development of other employees.
• Perform other related duties as required.
