About The Position

The Glaze Line Operator ensures safe and efficient operation of assigned equipment in a manufacturing environment. The role follows the Quality Management System (QMS) and standard operating procedures, and maintains a safe, clean, and organized work area. The operator monitors equipment and processes, checks output, creates samples, and performs quality control checks. The position also involves maintaining records related to safety, quality, and productivity, reporting problems to a supervisor, and supporting a learning environment by developing personal skills and assisting other employees. The listed shift runs from 6 AM to 6 PM on a 2-2-3 schedule.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safe and efficient operation of all assigned equipment.
• Follow the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Stock lines and machines with needed materials.
• Transport, weigh, and mix appropriate ingredients.
• Load and unload machines.
• Perform periodic checks on output.
• Create samples and perform quality control checks.
• Monitor equipment or processes and report safety, quality, productivity, and systems-related problems to a supervisor.
• Maintain documentation and records related to safety, quality, and productivity for the assigned area.
• Follow standard operating procedures and safe operating practices.
• Keep the work area safe, clean, and organized.
• Support a life-long learning environment by enhancing personal skills and assisting in the development of other employees.
• Perform other related duties as required.
