About The Position

Marvin Composites is hiring a Line Operator for its extrusion manufacturing facility in Fargo, North Dakota. The role oversees the manufacturing and production process, including handling raw materials, producing quality parts on the production line, and preparing finished goods for shipment to customers. The position is on the day shift, Monday through Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., at a pay rate of $20.75 per hour; relevant experience is considered. Marvin Composites produces custom fiberglass components used in Marvin windows and doors. Requirements

High school degree or GED.
Effective communication and social skills.
Ability to read and interpret specifications.
General computer proficiency for production tracking and reporting.
Forklift certification or ability to acquire certification.
Ability to stand and work for an 8-hour shift.
Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull objects weighing 10 to 50 pounds.
Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

Perform manufacturing checks to ensure product quality.
Set up and shut down production operations.
Handle tooling safely and maintain a clean workspace.
Prepare raw materials for production orders.
Use a forklift as needed to move raw materials and finished goods within the manufacturing plant.
Identify and resolve production issues.
