About The Position

Tidewater Eye Center and Virginia Eye Consultants have joined together to create an expanded ophthalmology network across Coastal Virginia. The organization is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon to join its growing team and help expand glaucoma services throughout the Hampton Roads and Williamsburg regions. The role offers immediate clinical and surgical glaucoma demand, an established patient base, and a strong regional referral network. The surgeon will work with a broad surgical mix, including MIGS, traditional glaucoma procedures, and cataract surgery, and will treat diverse glaucoma pathology and complex cases. The position provides access to advanced diagnostic and surgical technology, experienced clinical and surgical support teams, and collaboration with ophthalmologists and subspecialists across a multi-location network. The opportunity includes potential to help shape and grow regional glaucoma services, with long-term professional growth, leadership, and partnership potential. Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology.
Fellowship-trained in glaucoma.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and surgical glaucoma care, including MIGS and traditional glaucoma procedures.
Perform cataract surgery.
Help expand and shape glaucoma services across the Coastal Virginia region.
