Glaucoma Surgeon | Coastal Virginia
About The Position
EyeCare Partners is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon to join Tidewater Eye Center and Virginia Eye Consultants, which have combined to expand their ophthalmology network across Coastal Virginia. The position offers immediate clinical and surgical glaucoma demand, an established patient base, and a strong regional referral network. The surgeon will provide care across a broad mix of glaucoma services, including MIGS, traditional glaucoma procedures, and cataract surgery, with diverse pathology and complex cases. The role is part of a collaborative team with ophthalmologists and subspecialists, advanced diagnostic and surgical technology, experienced clinical and surgical support, and a multi-location network throughout Coastal Virginia. There is an opportunity to help grow and shape regional glaucoma services, with potential for long-term leadership, professional growth, and partnership.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology.
- Fellowship-trained in glaucoma.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and surgical glaucoma care.
- Perform glaucoma procedures, including MIGS and traditional glaucoma procedures, as well as cataract surgery.
- Help expand and shape glaucoma services across the Coastal Virginia region.
