About The Position

EyeCare Partners is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon to join Tidewater Eye Center and Virginia Eye Consultants in Coastal Virginia. The practices have joined together to expand ophthalmology services across the Hampton Roads and Williamsburg regions. The role offers immediate clinical and surgical glaucoma demand, an established patient base, and a strong regional referral network. The surgeon will provide care across a broad mix of glaucoma cases and procedures, including minimally invasive glaucoma surgery (MIGS), traditional glaucoma procedures, and cataract surgery. The position includes collaboration with ophthalmologists and subspecialists, support from experienced clinical and surgical teams, and access to advanced diagnostic and surgical technology. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to help grow and shape regional glaucoma services, with potential for long-term leadership, professional growth, and partnership. The practice is part of EyeCare Partners, a national clinically integrated eye-care network. The role serves a multi-location network throughout Coastal Virginia, offering the opportunity to build a glaucoma practice while living in a region with waterfront communities, beaches, history, dining, entertainment, and urban and suburban communities.

Requirements

Board-certified or board-eligible in ophthalmology.
Fellowship-trained in glaucoma.

Responsibilities

Provide clinical and surgical glaucoma care to an established patient base.
Perform glaucoma procedures, including MIGS and traditional glaucoma procedures, as well as cataract surgery.
Help expand and shape glaucoma services across the Coastal Virginia regional network.
Collaborate with ophthalmologists, subspecialists, and clinical and surgical support teams.
