About The Position
Tidewater Eye Center and Virginia Eye Consultants have joined together to create an expanded ophthalmology network across Coastal Virginia. The organization is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible, fellowship-trained Glaucoma Surgeon to join its growing team and meet immediate clinical and surgical glaucoma demand while helping expand services across a well-established regional network. The role offers an established patient base, a strong regional referral network, a broad surgical mix that includes MIGS, traditional glaucoma procedures, and cataract surgery, and exposure to diverse glaucoma pathology and complex cases. The surgeon will work with ophthalmologists and subspecialists and receive support from experienced clinical and surgical teams, using advanced diagnostic and surgical technology. The practice operates across multiple locations in Coastal Virginia, including the Hampton Roads and Williamsburg regions. There is potential to help shape and grow glaucoma services, with long-term leadership, professional growth, and partnership opportunities.
Requirements
- Board-certified or board-eligible.
- Fellowship-trained in glaucoma.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical and surgical glaucoma care, addressing immediate patient demand.
- Perform a broad range of procedures, including MIGS, traditional glaucoma procedures, and cataract surgery.
- Help expand and shape glaucoma services across the regional network.
