About The Position

This position is responsible for precutting fiberglass mat, bi-axial, bi-ply, and coremat, preparing kits, and delivering them to the production line. The role requires the ability to read and understand instructions, use various tools, and perform tasks with moderate to heavy lifting.

Requirements

• Must be able to read a ruler, charts, and add with a ruler.
• Must be able to keep accurate records.
• Must be able to use required tools, including a cutting knife, razor, scissors, electric saw, ruler, and templates.
• Moderate to heavy lifting (50 to 75 lbs.), with or without accommodation.
• Normal duties include lifting material, bending, stooping, leaning, reaching, and stretching.
• Must be able to read and understand instructions.
• Must wear personal protective gear, such as gloves and coveralls.
• Talking, hearing, and normal vision required.
• Able to understand spoken instructions with regard to job training and safety concerns.
• Ability to speak conversational English.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed finishing of all products.
• Ability to deal with changes related to equipment use and productivity.

Responsibilities

• Precuts fiberglass mat, bi-axial, bi-ply, and coremat.
• Prepares kits for the production line.
• Delivers kits to the line.
• Cuts mat and stacks on carts.
• Cuts woven material for all applications.
• Cuts PVC pipe to specified lengths.
• Fills bulk material bins.
• Cleans up the work area.
• Pushes carts to the lamination area.
• Performs related duties as assigned.
