About The Position

We are seeking an experienced GIS Global Contracts Director to lead contract strategy and execution for a global Facilities, Security, and Hospitality Management portfolios, managing high-value, multi-year service agreements with major providers. The Director collaborates cross-functionally with operations, engineering, finance, legal, sustainability, and procurement teams. The Director drives value through optimized vendor performance, standardized contract terms, and proactive risk/compliance management in a multinational environment. This GIS Global Contracts Director is based in Indiana and offers an onsite with flexibility work environment. Relocation may be considered, with support provided. The role is responsible for defining and governing functional processes, capabilities, systems, and data to align with enterprise objectives and improve outcomes for customers. As a senior leader, the GIS Global Contracts Director will own the strategy and roadmap, partnering with business leaders, end ‑ to ‑ end process owners, and peer functional leaders. This role will establish maturity goals, performance metrics, and enterprise governance frameworks while leading measurable improvement initiatives. The Director will also guide functional capability and talent development, maintain strong external industry connectivity, and ensure the function is positioned to support sustainable growth and long ‑ term business performance. In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways: Maturity goals: Lead the development of maturity goals in partnership with business leaders, functional peers, and end ‑ to ‑ end process owners. Strategy and roadmap: Own and drive the strategy and roadmap to achieve defined maturity and performance objectives. Performance metrics: Establish performance metrics that directly support internal value chains and end ‑ to ‑ end process outcomes. Enterprise governance: Lead enterprise ‑ level governance of functional processes, systems, and data within the broader end ‑ to ‑ end framework. Talent and capability framework: Define global position profiles, required competencies, talent strategies, and functional learning and development needs. Learning and development: Build and lead the learning strategy, integrating experiential learning, professional networks, industry associations, and formal training. Customer and growth impact: Apply business knowledge and operational insight to identify functional growth opportunities and improve customer outcomes. Continuous improvement leadership: Partner with process owners to prioritize improvement initiatives, delegate and monitor work to completion, and deliver measurable, enterprise ‑ level results while developing and coaching the team.

Requirements

  • College, university, or equivalent degree required, bachelor’s degree in business administration, Law, Facilities Management, Real Estate, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • 10–15+ years of progressive experience required, with 5+ years at a senior the level preferred.
  • Strong experience leading strategic initiatives, change efforts, and large, complex projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process redesign and drive improvements in functional quality.
  • Broad experience working across multiple functional areas with global or multi-site exposure preferred.
  • Proven experience negotiating and managing complex, high-value service contracts and vendor portfolios.

  • Expert negotiation, drafting, and interpretation skills for service-oriented contracts, including SLAs, KPIs, and incentives or penalties.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate risk, perform financial modeling, and benchmark performance to drive informed decisions.

  • Excellent communication and partnership skills across operations, legal, finance, and executive stakeholders.
  • Working knowledge of facilities management regulations and standards, and experience with contract management tools and platforms.
  • Ability to translate business and market insight into value creation, cost optimization, and long-term partnership strategies.
  • Comfort navigating multinational complexities, including cultural, legal, and operational differences, with a broad enterprise lens.
  • Skill in managing ambiguity and complexity, optimizing work processes, and adapting approach to shifting business needs while valuing diverse perspectives.
