This Director role is responsible for negotiating contracts, ensuring high contract compliance, and managing supply utilization for their assigned book of business. The position drives cost redirection initiatives across the health system by acting as a project manager and consultant to both clinical and non-clinical departments. Key functions include leading organization-wide product changes, advocating for product standardization and utilization, coordinating new product introductions, and ensuring the procurement of high-quality, clinically appropriate items at the lowest total cost. The Director also serves as a liaison and advisor to procurement leadership.
