About The Position
Newton High School is seeking a Girls Varsity Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2026-2027 school year. The position begins in November 2026. The salary for this position is $4,191. The position will remain open until filled.
Requirements
- Valid coaching endorsement or coaching authorization issued by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners.
- Iowa BOEE Coaching Certificate.
- Child Abuse Mandatory Reporter Certificate.
- Coaching Transcripts.
Responsibilities
- Assist the head coach in all aspects of the girls' varsity wrestling program.
- Provide coaching and guidance to student-athletes.
- Ensure adherence to all school and district policies and regulations.
- Promote a positive and safe athletic environment.
