About The Position

Santa Rosa Academy is a K-12 public charter school, established in 2005 and chartered out of the Menifee Union School District. We serve students in Riverside county with site-based, home study, and a combination of home study/on-site programs accreditated by the Schools Commission of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Our mission is to create a school that is highly regarded for academic excellence within a flexible and innovative learning environment that will effectively develop, sustain and enhance the skills necessary to be lifelong learners and productive citizens. The Assistant Coach for High School athletic teams supports the head coach. The primary responsibility of the Assistant Coach is instructing student-athletes and reporting to the Head Coach of varsity. The individual serving in this position is responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Coordinate and manage all aspects of position assignment as directed by the Head Coach. To ensures that equipment and facilities are maintained. Performs planning, organization and execution for on-the-field coaching duties as described and assigned by the Head Coach for all practice sessions and competitions. Function in game-day organization and assignments as assigned by the Head Coach.
