JV Volleyball Head Coach - Corcoran (Fall 2026)
About The Position
The Syracuse City School District is seeking a dedicated and diverse team of educators to partner with them in moving the district toward its goals. The district serves approximately 19,000 students Pre-K–12 across 35 schools and programs. The coaching staff consists of certified, dedicated people who enjoy working with student athletes. The modified program for grades 7-8 emphasizes skill development, participation, discipline, enjoyment of play, competition, and dedication to hard work. The high school level (freshman, Junior Varsity, and Varsity teams) stresses the development of academics, goal setting, teamwork, leadership, and sportsmanship, with a focus on striving for success and efficient team and individual effort.
Requirements
- New York State Coaching Certification
- Valid First Aid course
- Valid Adult CPR certification
- Workshop - Child Abuse Identification
- Workshop - School Violence Intervention and Prevention
- Workshop - Dignity For All Students Act (DASA)
- Fingerprint Clearance
- School District Recommendation

Responsibilities
- Coach student athletes in grades 7-12.
