About The Position

The Gift Shop Cashier is responsible for Guest satisfaction by handling all cash and credit card transactions in an expeditious and professional manner.

Requirements

Must be dependable and reliable.
Must be able to interact with the public.
Must meet Tribal/State Compact licensing requirements, pass criminal background check and submit to drug testing.
Must have Strong Computer Skills.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED desirable.
Previous experience in cash handling desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain positive Guest relation.
Greet all Guests entering the Gift Shop, thank and invite them back upon leaving.
Adhere to company Policies and Procedures for all cash handling functions.
Compute Guest check totals with speed and accuracy.
Accommodate our Guests and employees by giving prompt service.
Develop and maintain proper serving techniques.
Observe all health regulations and safety precautions.
Complete any set-up, closing duties and side work assigned.
Keep the Gift Shop clean and well maintained.
Attend all mandatory meetings and training.
Must have ability to maintain confidentiality.
Sensitive to Native American Culture.
Operate within the parameters of the Leech Lake Gaming Human Resource Policy, Departmental Policy Manual and all Tribal Internal Controls (TICs), and all other applicable regulations.
Secure the assets of Leech Lake Gaming and the Leech Lake Band of Ojibwe.
Other duties as assigned.
