About The Position

This is a full-time position, Monday - Friday, from 8:00am - 4:30pm, located at UF Health Jacksonville Downtown. The candidate must be willing to be the backup to the North Campus Gift Shop if needed. The role involves providing customer service and performing cashiering duties, including receiving and disbursing funds, recording monetary transactions, and counting cash, charge receipts, and checks. It may also include posting online payments, processing daily deposits, and preparing bank deposits.

Requirements

• GED or High School Diploma
• Customer service skills
• Ability to operate computer or computerized cash register
• Ability to perform basic mathematical functions with a calculator
• One (1) year cashier, general customer service, or related experience
• Will substitute college level course work for required experience

Nice To Haves

• Prefer 10 key-by- touch and data entry skills
